I can offer a 'mock test' service for your trainees. 

I will play the 'role' of a Driving Examiner and give your trainee a close to real life experience of what their driving test will feel like. This service will include -

• Meeting at the Driving Test Centre of your choice - Ayr, Irvine or Cumnock
• Conduct the mock test as an actual Driving Examiner would, using all the correct wordings and explanations
• Using a test route of similar standard and as challenging as a DVSA test route
• Can test all the reverse exercises if required
• Assessment of the mock test in accordance with current DVSA guidance using a suitable 'DL25' form
• 'Result' given at the end of the mock test
• Full written report produced identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses
• Conducted in your car, a familiar environment

This service is ideal for nervous trainees. I have dealt with many nervous trainees during my career and have developed strategies to assist with the test day nerves and help build confidence. 

This will also help build your trainee's confidence for their test and confirm their level of preparedness before the big day. It will give them some valuable experience of what it will feel like to sit beside someone else in a test environment. Very often the 'fear of the unknown' plays a big part in the test day nerves, in particular on their first attempt. 

During the mock test no instruction will be carried out so as not to undermine your training methods or introduce any element of confusion. 

The cost for this is £35 and includes the test and report and is only available to ADI's / PDI's.
